About Dreamworks Anesthesia Associates, PLLC
All the CRNAs at Lufkin Plastic Surgery are independent practitioners with
Dreamworks Anesthesia Associates, PLLC. Dreamworks Anesthesia has provided
anesthesia in Lufkin since 2001 at both Woodland Heights Medical Center and
Gaslight Surgery Center. All of our CRNAs are Advanced Cardiac Life Support
certified and meet their annual continuing education requirements. They are
recertified by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for
Nurse Anesthetists and are all members of the American Association of Nurse
Anesthetists.
Harold Bishop, CRNA
Harold Bishop received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State
University in 1973. Shortly afterwards, he entered the US Army and received
his training in Nurse Anesthesia at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in
Washington, D.C. in 1977. After leaving the US Army, he started his practice
in Texas and came to Lufkin in 2002. He currently serves as the chief CRNA
for Dreamworks Anesthesia.
Connie DuBose, CRNA
Connie DuBose received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F.
Austin State University in Dec, 1983. She received her Master in Health
Science in December, 1987 and her certificate to practice nurse anesthesia in
December, 1988, both from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. She gave
the anesthesia for Dr. Strinden's first surgery patient in East Texas in
1988. She has practiced in Lufkin for 26 years.
Brenda Wallis, CRNA
Brenda Wallis received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993 and her
Masters of Science in Nursing in 1999 from the University of Texas at Tyler.
She received her Post Masters certificate in Nurse Anesthesia from the
University of North Carolina at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2004.
She joined Dreamworks Anesthesia in Aug 2004.
Chad Martinez, CRNA
Chad graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin
State University in 2007. After working at Woodland Heights Medical Center in
ICU for 4 years, Chad obtained his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from
Texas Christian University in December of 2013. He joined Dreamworks
Anesthesia in January of 2014 and has been working at Woodland Heights Medical
Center since then.
